Position: Java Developer
Responsibilities:
Application Development
-Analyse customer requirements
-Design, code and unit test eSolutions applications
-Review and recommend improvement in methods, tools and techniques to continuously improve productivity and quality
3rd Level Support
-Provide 3rd level support for eSolutions-developed applications as required.
Company policies and procedures
Comply at all times with department policies and procedures to preserve the department’s integrity and to protect customers’ interests
Requirements:
• Minimum of two years programming experience with Java (Spring, Hibernate) J2EE.
•Highly regarded experience would include, IBM Websphere, BEA Weblogic, Ant, eclipse, Java, and testing technologies
•Knowledge of UML and Object Oriented application design and development
•Commercially competent SQL programming skills and experience with DB2 UDB
•Ability to solve a problem and provide an appropriate solution with minimal guidance
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate to staff across all levels within Salmat, communicating with a minimum of excellent business level English
•Understanding of Windows Server and AIX operating systems
•Ability to work unsupervised, prioritize workload and work to deadlines
•Degree in BS Computer Science, IT or related discipline
